Founder and owner of A Gamer’s Nostalgia, a video gaming and Esports organization established in February 2012 and based in Rochester New York. I have hosted multiple 100+ player tournaments and currently host monthly tournaments that average 102 attendees. That includes the recent 430+ attendee event Upstate Uproar. Proud to have had over 14,600 total attendees over the course of these 10 years for games of all genres including Super Smash Bros, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Mario Kart, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Madden, NBA 2K, Tecmo Super Bowl, Halo, Bomberman, Golden Eye 007 and more.I have also provided video gaming stations and entertainment for multiple Cons here in Rochester NY, including RocCon, Reiyacon, Kisetsucon, Super City Con. At these Conventions I’ve hosted tournaments, high score competitions and open casual gaming that were available to the hundreds and thousands of people in attendance. I have collaborated with the Rochester Museum & Science Center at the Planetarium to host “Gaming On The Dome” which was a reoccurring event that allowed kids and adults alike to play video games on the massive screen in the Planetarium. Proud to have hosted or been a part of more than 400 video game events in the Rochester NY area over the past 10 years which has helped me learn and now influence the gaming landscape here in Rochester. Former Head Coach of Bryant & Stratton College’s Esports program for the past 3 years so I understand the challenges and benefits of recruiting, marketing, connection and building a program/department from the bottom. Formerly the Gamemaster at Nerdvana where I field video game related questions and troubleshoot any issues that arise with systems, accessories and or software.
