Over 20 Years of experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in hotels, but also in nightclubs and pubs.General Manager with strong F&B background with focus on sales as well as improving customer service and guest experience. My greatest work achievement to date has been to take Deans Place from a low 3 star country house hotel to a highly regarded and popular 4 star hotel on a very modest budget.Technologically skilled, I am not phased by learning new software systems. I have set up several different PMS and EPOS in properties as well as helping to design and maintain our website alongside our web developer.I am responsible for managing our Social Media Accounts and E-Marketing Strategy to ensure they are operating effectively.In my current role I am also responsible for the following;* Create and Set Annual Budgets* Work with High Level Stakeholders to achieve targets.* Managing Room Rate Strategies alongside Company aims to achieve optimum Room Rate and Occupancies.*Set up and implemented new PMS Systems (Mews) and Epos Systems (Lightspeed)*Responsible for implementing Health & Safety, EHO and Fire Safety Legislation of Business* Negotiating Annual Insurance with Brokers* Ordering Stock (Beverage)* Conducting regular training* Make a fantastic Espresso Martini alongside many other cocktails* Not a job in the hotel I haven't done at some point!Outside of Work* Very keen runner having completed 5 marathons including London, Berlin and New York City.* Enjoy photography and art, especially painting and printmaking* Play many sports - a good all rounder!
