My role involves maintaining a diverse estate of EPOS and other computer systems. It also demands the ability to efficiently and effectively install, fault find, repair and rebuild equipment at organizations from large multiples to smaller niche retailers, from hospitality to hospitals. Equipment Varies from fully managed servers and all in one till units to small handhelds such as mobile phones and chip and pin devices.An integral part of my role involves supporting and corresponding with a large team of field engineers, As a senior member of the Field Service team I am often a 1st line contact for other engineers technical support queries. This position allows me to demonstrate my skills of time management and organization due to the geographical spread of our client base.

Supporting Customers via telephone and onsite visits using Spur’s custom built parking management software. Making software amendments and database repairs and restructures. Formatting templates used by our clients mailing systems to the requirements of the individual client, this was done via Microsoft office and other 1st party tools developed in house.

Supporting and maintaining Epos and retail management hardware and software for a large customer base. Testing and deployment of the company’s new software; the IT support included troubleshooting, repairing the epos till hardware and back office systems. I also acted as installation engineer, installing epos and retail management systems for new customers nationwide also installing and maintaining networking cabling and WiFi systems.This would also include training our customers on new equipment and our developed in house software packages.
