Implementing and Leading a lean portfolio management function across a number of areas of Technology, the role included:- Building Product Management capability across the portfolio, including working with Product Owners / Product Area Leads and providing direction in respect of shaping and decomposing work, engaging customers, product roadmaps and product / performance metrics- Changing the direction over 'how we work' within our portfolio to align to lean Portfolio Management practices including the ceremonies that we operate within our portfolio that support planning and delivery at a portfolio level- Delivery governance and visibility over portfolio of work, including Jira and executive reporting;- Providing clarity over roles and responsibilities within the planning and delivery eco-system to delineate various roles such as initiative lead, tribe performance lead, product owner, product area lead, scrum master & portfolio lead;The role reports to the Divisional CIO and requires excellent leadership, influencing, stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills

Providing a Chief-of-Staff function to the Chief Operation Officer, Technology, the role also involved enabled a detailed understanding of ways to drive performance across an organisation, with finance, risk and audit as well as people and culture being key areas of the role's focus, including: - Responsibility for Domain / Business Unit finances;- Management of key Technology forums for the COO, Technology, such as the ANZ wide Extreme Risk Forum as well as the Technology Operations Forum; - Regular board reporting on strategy and operations, as well as risk governance across the enterprise domains within Technology; and- Being a key liaison point between the COO and his executives, communicating clearly and articulately to help drive outcomes.- Short and Long term executive planning

Responsibilities- Facilitating the execution of the Technology Investment funding and ensuring alignment to strategy ~ $200m directly for Technology per annum ;- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Technology to achieve outcomes related to enabling strategic priorities, solving issues related to changes in budgets, ensuring compliance with risk and audit items;- Provide governance over the portfolio, enabling a shared understanding of the performance of the portfolio, value delivered as well as expected in the future, and alerting for any upcoming issues;- Leading the team while senior manager was seconded / on leave for approx 4 months, this included direct accountability to senior leaders and ensuring that staff were guided how to complete their roles effectively in his absence.

Responsibilities- Providing an understanding of performance of projects for the Technology, Services and Operations division to the CFO and Business GM. This involved providing reporting of financial results, as well as trend and environmental analysis, to support the discussion on the achieveability of project forecasts for both costs and benefits given business conditions;- Managing various relationships across the role including with Project Finance team, PMO’s, Project Directors and Business Partners to ensure primarily that (1) proper analysis and understanding of projects is undertaken; (2) hard project benefits are incorporated into the planning function of the divisional finance teams; and (3) depreciation and amortization impacts across the division are understood and shared- Managing benefits for a bank-wide initiative to track all Project FTE related saves across the bank resulting from a change in bank processes / structure. This came with significant responsibility in terms of senior stakeholder management, reporting and analysis ~ working primarily with GM Transformation projects.

Responsibilities- Being responsible, in totality, for the balance sheet and profit and loss for each of the business units. - Providing information, analysis and support for monthly profit and loss results, as well as movements in balance sheet accounts- Working on efficiency through identifying and working with offshore staff to automate routine tasks;

Responsibilities- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of the issues facing each facet of the business and understanding how this may subsequently affect the performance of the business against its own budgets and forecasts- Providing monthly reporting to highlight current financial results combined with budgeted and forecast results. This also encompassed resource allocations across the business.- Communicating with Senior stakeholders within Finance and business to ensure that appropriate issues were being escalated in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities- Being a key contact for the strategic partnership between Aspen Pharmaceuticals S.A. and GSK in relation to the reporting of 12 divested products transferred from GSK’s ownership to Aspen's;- Performing detailed reconciliation and analysis of the profit and loss for each of the divested products for each individual GSK market worldwide, identifying anomalies and understanding the commercial environment for each product;- Liaising with commercial team and individual entities from the wider GSK community in order to ensure that specific parts of the Aspen agreement were being accounted for correctly, and being reported on a timely basis,

Responsibilities:- Lead Senior Accountant for the audit of interim and annual financial reports, performed at a Group level;- Delivering external client reports on business processes improvements, fraud risks, financial misstatements, and other issues in a timely and value adding manner that is easily understood;- Leadership of client engagements by scoping and planning procedures, managing smaller audit teams, budgeting and cost analysis of engagements;- Building and maintaining a relationships with key client contacts such as CEO, CFO and FC to gain an understanding of the client’s business and operations;- Coaching junior staff member to ensure responsibilities and expectations for engagements were met, whilst also delivering opportunities for development and growth.
