Designing developmentally appropriate, well structured, and pedagogically rich content, with, for example, clear learning objectives and using plenary activities and summaries, creating a “buzz” around learning. Promoting Classics throughout the school by running the weekly "Myth and Monsters" club, creating regular quizzes on Kahoot, and introducing lunchtime ancient Greek for KS-3, and running the department's Twitter account. Organised a school-wide 'Classics Afternoon' for yr. 8s, involving various school departments and outside speakers: unfortunately, postponed due to Covid-19.
