Provide engineering and system administration for users located on east coast of the United States and Europe. I was responsible for engineering and implementing a second datacenter, boundary services, active directory, OCSP, forward proxies, expanding the MECM environment from a single primary site to a CAS and adding a second primary site, email services, and external authentication mechanisms.

I was member of the team that modernized the Marine Corps DMZ and migrated users to Microsoft O365/M365 services. This included deploying and engineering F5 appliances to support load balancing, reverse web proxy services, and front-end security. I also provided support in establishing Azure AD connect, SMTP relays, authentication services, boundary security, and ensuring high availability whenever possible to support Marine Corps initiative to move to users to O365/M365.

I supported helpdesk functions for the first 5 years during this time and was promoted to administrator for the remaining time. While serving as administrator my responsibilities were maintaining active directory, email, PKI infrastructure, endpoint security, networking infrastructure to include boundaries, and virtual infrastructure.
