Experienced in athletics, social media management, and even retail. I'm a third year Media and Communications undergraduate with an entrepreneurial spirit, seeking any opportunity to put my studies into practice. My guiding principle is to see every project to the end, determined to have the best results regardless of how familiar I am with the subject. Through my degree I have studied a broad range of disciplines within the field of media and communication: online and print journalism, textual analysis, popular genres and culture, discourse analysis, research skills, marketing, advertising, social media management, and personal branding. I run my own personal brand using an athletics based Instagram account, demonstrating my dedication and proclivity to my sport, as well as using the platform to engage with like minded individuals, and even to help or inspire those interested in achieving more through exercise. As such I have a good knowledge of social media and how to use it for both business and personal endeavours. My retail experience has allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, such as customer relations and verbal communication in a friendly and approachable manner, as well as becoming more adept at working as part of small team to deliver the best service in a fast paced environment.
