Awarded the REU Summer Research Fellowship to spend 10 weeks researching post-translation sentiment analysis and translation detection. Listed as lead author on a paper published at the 19th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad Hoc and Smart Systems (MASS):

Investigating the use of semi-supervised learning for tumour classification using the PyTorch framework. Gained familiarity with the following:- Wide residual networks- PyTorch- Conda- Docker- Linux operating system- Git workflow

Part of a project team developing a best-in-class consumer electronics device. Consistently presented to clients during weekly update calls, and authored technical documents for distribution with clients. Mechanical lead on an eight-month intern-lead project, developing a works-like prototype for a smart reverse vending machine. The project culminated in a presentation to the whole company, and gained commercial interest.Completed an embedded systems solo project producing a website (and linked hardware) to control when the rooftop bar's beer taps are operable.
