Providing a bespoke service to our client, we have managed Tesco’s car park and access improvement program. Covering the whole of Tesco’s property portfolio we have identified stores where car park’s or accesses are creating customer dissatisfaction and impacting any individual stores ability to drive sales. James has created a unique management system which looks at customer feedback data, retail feedback, sales data and competitor impacts to understand where improvements can be made, whether this is within the car park, or through negotiation with the local highways authorities to deliver improvements through a section 278 agreement or other suitable legal agreement. Where a requirement for improvements has been identified, the entire process is managed from planning, to design, and finally through to build. All cost for the works are controlled and managed so that they are delivered for best value for money and a suitable return on investment made.

Primary role – Heading up the feasibility team which included production of feasibility and preliminary highways advice to a range of clients looking to move potential schemes prior to applying to submitting a planning application. . Secondary role - Production of detail design drawings and the development of schemes though the technical approval process. This required understanding of local highways authorities' legal agreements process such as section 278/38/184.

Sourcing C-Level Executives and Managing Directors of international companies to negotiate advertising contracts in high quality business publications. This involved calling large multinational companies worldwide and understanding their business area, in addition to providing solutions for the successful marketing of the company brand in difficult markets such as Asia.
