James has over 25 years experience working across investment banking, private equity, real estate and funds management, and as an investor in a number of businesses. He is the CFO at the Beaugroup family office, is an investor and advisor to Trovio, invests in private equity opportunities via 153 East Partners and is on the Board of a number of investee companies.Previously James was Head of the Private Capital Group at ANZ Bank in Australia and an equity partner in the private equity group Blue Sky Capital in the US and the UK. Sectors of focus include real estate, digital assets, waste, energy, mining, equipment hire, agriculture and private debt. James has led capital raises and investments across numerous transactions as a principal and also as an advisor to a wide variety of investors, including hedge funds, private equity groups, pension funds and family offices.James was educated at Oxford University and has subsequently completed training programmes at a variety of international business schools during his career.
