Research Projects included:The development and characterisation of a novel enzyme-based fuel cell to generate power from trace H2 in air.Using advanced electrochemical techniques and kinetic modelling to probe the mechanism of O2 tolerance in H2-oxidising enzymes (hydrogenases).Mechanistic studies in [NiFe]-hydrogenases, including small molecule binding and the identification and characterisation of two previously unknown inactivation mechanisms.
