I am a highly experienced tutor of philosophy, politics and English, who holds a first-class masters degree in Philosophy from King’s College London. I am the founder and director of Humanitas Learning. I began tutoring while completing my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Politics at the University of Sheffield. I underwent teacher training and a placement at Silverdale School. I was immensely popular with students and staff and, finishing top of my class, was asked to stay on l while completing my own studies. Additionally, I ran the ‘Philosophy in the City’ program, in which I organised a team to tutors to deliver lessons at charitable institutions throughout the city.I proceeded to complete my MA in Philosophy at Kings College London, achieving the highest mark on my course for my paper on Heidegger (87) and graduating with a distinction overall. My research interests are Literary theory, Aesthetics and German Idealism. I am currently applying for a PhD in a topic relating to Hegel and early modern drama. After graduating from Kings, I worked with some of the U.K’s leading tutoring agencies, such as Tutorful, Superprof and Explore Learning, gaining a wide variety of tutoring experience. In 2020, I began to tutor independently and quickly established a large base of clients. I then founded a new agency which offers specialist tuition in English and the humanities from GCSE to undergraduate level called 'Humanitas Learning'.Our expert knowledge and compassionate, personalised approach allows us to quickly identify a student’s unique needs and develop a learning plan that’s right for them. I’ve inspired struggling GCSE English pupils to rise from Level 4 to Level 9, and guided students into top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. As a tutor of undergraduate students, I have worked with students at Cambridge, UCL and Kuwait University - helping one to ascend from an average mark of 35 to an overall grade of 78 and a place on a PhD course.
