I taught pre-algebra, algebra, and practical math. I designed my own curriculum for practical math that included review from previous math courses, logic, voting theory, statistics, calculus, and statics.

At the 19th best high school in America, worked in a cooperative, supportive, and productive team to provide a home-like environment in the dormitories. Researched and developed new residential programs while coordinating travel and breaks for international students. Advised several student clubs and tutored students on an informal basis. Provided a great deal of energy, commitment, and flexibility. Researched new teaching methods for calculus education for junior high school students.

Collected and analyzed data to improve teaching methods at my schools.Organized and participated in international exchange events at elementary schools across the city.Volunteered my time to create and English Club.Coached eight students to place in the Koriyama English Speech Contest. Two of whom went on to the Fukushima Speech Contest.

It was my responsibility to run recitation classes, check homework, tutor in the math lab, and research a thesis. During this time I was able to develop my research and teaching skills while working on a thesis that turned into a publication in the Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society.

I learned how to organize and teach my own classes using a curriculum I designed. I also learned how to adapt and improve my teaching plans to better educate my students.

Poland Springs, Maine

This was a project based internship. I was tasked with cataloging, organizing, and updating the plant blueprints and bottling schematics. I was also tasked with creating an easy to follow flow chart documenting the water coming from the ground and ending in the bottles. While working on these projects I spearheaded an additional project that saved the plant close to $100,000 in annual operation costs. I also headed a project to design the layout for a new solar lighting system for the entrance sign.
