I run the I.T. at Chabot, working closely with Clare Computing to manage day to day needs of staff. I still perform A/V duties usually producing special event lectures or films in the Megadome Theater. I share oversight and maintenance of Planetarium operations. I maintain classroom A/V systems, exhibit systems, and manage repairs and upgrades throughout.

I maintain and upgrade the technical infrastructure at Chabot Space and Science center, with emphasis on the 6 classroom A/V systems which are in high demand. I provide technical support for corporate special events and guest lecturers. I am the operator of the 70mm MegaVision film projection system in the Megadome Theater. I also run digital Planetarium.

Various duties included telephone hiring, fingerprinting, data entry using the DAAPS Federal payroll system, payroll auditing, payroll customer service, filing structures and systems.

Worked closely with a team at Chabot Space and Science Center to collect data about the Chabot in-house production digital show Tales of the Maya Skies. The objective was to examine the effect of watching the film in a planetarium dome immersive setting as opposed to a flat screen theatre setting. Recruited patrons to take part in the survey, positive.

I taught the Success Team module of the Experience Unlimited training week for transitional professionals, and a Blogging Workshop using the Wordpress template. Specialist in fiber optic and copper backbone installations, data terminations, CATV systems, Clock paging over IP systems, web based security systems, data network design, and contractor inspections in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Worked with the District, architects and electrical engineers to design data networks prior to new schools.

I successfully ran a pioneering subscription residential and commercial recycling business for 20 years in Berkeley and surrounding cities. As the owner and operator, I managed all aspects of the business from scheduling to billing, from promotion to customer service, truck maintenance, and of course, the actual collection of the recycling materials.
