I recently transitioned to retirement after 10 years of part-time employment, as needed employment and full-time employment specializing in Pharmaceutical, Animal Health and Food/Beverages construction. I am now available for some "as needed" consulting work including, but not limited to, constructability reviews, site visits, safety compliance, construction management and documentation. Limited travel is ok, prefer to work remote, but will assist where needed if possible. Thank you and be safe!

I have retired from full time work and travel at CRB. I have had wonderful work experiences and it is just time to slow down a bit and enjoy life. I hope to travel, play golf and stay connected by performing some "As Needed" work for CRB and do some consulting/safety auditing when the opportunities arise!

After a five year absence, I have returned to The Konath Group where I will use my construction and healthcare experience as a Senior Project Manager on all types of commercial construction with an emphasis on healthcare projects. Daily activities include sales, pre-construction and project management.

MEP Superintendent on two major hospitals - Children's Hospital of Alabama's 12 story 760,000 square foot LEED certified building in an urban setting with a construction budget of approximately $270MM and NEA Baptist Hospital's new 720,000 square foot hospital and clinics with a construction budget of approximately $170MM.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing and managing the overall process of engineering, programming, installing and checkout/commissioning of temperature control systems for large commercial buildings including hospitals, schools, office and military buildings in three state region.

Serving as a volunteer for my neighborhood homes assciation, I was responsible for many of the day to day activities within the area. As the president, I worked very closely with a Board of Directors, conducted monthly board meetings and the annual home owners meeting. Activities including managing the collection of annual associations dues, conflicts between members and enforcement of rules and regulations.

MEP Project Manager - CommercialOwner's representative role overseeing and monitoring installation of MEP systems on a major expansion of Convention Center including a 130,000 square foot ballroom with state of the art sound and lighting systems and two four-lane bridge replacements. Monitored contractor’s obligations in obtaining LEED Silver certification. Additional duties included serving as the field administrator of the Owner Controlled Insurance Program and safety management for two city projects in conjunction with project management role.Senior Project Manager- EducationalSenior project manager on $1.8 million fast track renovation and upgrade to two local schools. Scope of work included upgrades and extensive repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete façade, landscaping, auditorium seating and carpentry. Project completed on time and with substantial savings that were re-invested in additional renovations.Senior Project Manager- HealthcareActed as Owner's Representative on renovation of radiology suite/installation of replacement linear accelerator and installation of additional linear accelerator equipment on second site. Reviewed construction documents, contractor's budget and schedule, monitored installation and performed quality reviews for Owner, and provided suggestions to resolve construction conflicts.

Project Manager- HealthcareServed as the project manager on a $23 million four story expansion and a 544 car parking garage located on the Liberty Hospital campus. The hospital expansion consisted of 84,000 square feet with a radiology suite with a linear accelerator, doctor’s offices and a new birthing center department. Owner awarded additional scope of work including oversight of a new MRI building, relocation of sanitary sewer, construction of new street to provide access to the campus, and additional surface parking. Suggested alternate installation of HVAC piping that eliminated the temporary relocation of the sterile processing department – a major financial savings to the hospital that also prevented any disruption of service. MEP/Aquatic Life Support System Project Manager - CommercialResponsible for all MEP and Aquatic Life Support System aspects of the American National Fish and Wildlife Museum, an 80,000 square feet museum and aquarium. The aquarium included over 30 separate freshwater and saltwater life support systems including a 200,000 gallon saltwater tank. Museum included state of the art exhibit lighting, sound and interactive systems. Project was completed on time and under the $35 million budget with the savings returned to the Owner. MEP Project Manager - HealthcareSuccessfully performed as MEP Project Manager on $38 million Acute Care addition, separate Surgical Center, and extensive renovation of existing hospital on Wyoming Medical Center campus. During my 18 month period as a "suitcase" employee I quickly gained respect of the Owner and a close-knit local subcontractor community, fairly reviewed and negotiated over 400 change order requests or clarifications and reconciled differences with Owner, Architect and Turner Construction.

Project Coordinator - HealthcareAs a staff member for the hospital I served as project coordinator between hospital staff/department directors and design/construction team members to organize work schedules and to resolve conflicts for construction/renovation projects totaling more than $25 million. Projects included patient room renovations, mechanical equipment expansion, Cardiology Department relocation, WIC/Ultrasound Department relocation, renovation of four story nurses building, and renovation of off-site accounting department. Job responsibilities included meeting with hospital staff to discuss goals of projects, drafting job specifications and bid documents, preparing budgetary estimates, selecting construction team from competitive proposals, and contract administration during construction.
