Data Scientist fluent in Python, R, SAS, and Stata for data science, data processing, machine learning, AI, and modeling for a wide range of use cases and data structures. I specialize in statistical modeling not just for predicting but also understanding the behavior of individuals, (consumers, for example) and groups (communities, for example) where individual decisions may be linked and display surprising emergent behaviors. I employ a deep knowledge of statistical theory, causal inference, and science writing to help individuals and teams communicate complex results with integrity, clarity, and facility. I have applied my decades-long experience with thorny problems like causality, multi-level modeling, and inference to building machine learning systems that reflect careful thought at every stage.
