Lots of people have big ideas. Execution is what matters. Upon graduating with an Engineering degree I would have never guessed that I my road of life would progress from product design into program management, operations management, and business intelligence / strategy. Belief and practice of Lean methodology and The Toyota Way keeps me focused on opportunities to improve processes in every area of a company.I’ve worn many hats in my career, and as a result I have developed the ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges. I have experience in the entire life cycle of the automotive industry, from initial vehicle concept to end user. I have held positions at two OEMs (Peterbilt Motors Co and Stewart & Stevenson), worked in the OEM supply chain (Commercial Vehicle Group and Caterpillar), held an executive position with one of the largest fleet of trucks in the Southwest (Sunset Logistics Inc), and am now proud to be a leader with Penske Vehicle Services, partnered with a key client (Toyota Motor North America).I am always interested to see what's over the next hill. Along the way I have been fortunate to work with and be mentored by some great people. I have also been lucky enough to have wonderful people work for me that I've coached, mentored, and (when necessary) driven into greatness.Specialties: team-building and collaboration, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, project leadership, business intelligence and development of key performance indicators (KPIs), strategic financial planning and operational excellence.
