About James Sharp

Leading and managing a very busy in house studio of 12 designers across all aspects of Brand, Digital and Packaging executions. Experience in a wide range of creative design including branding, catalogues, press, full marketing promotions, POS, labelling, packaging, fashion and even a black cab and truck livery or 2. As well as the world of digital design, producing creative for email, web and social assets.I took on the lead designer/studio manager role at Holland & Barrett in Feb 2018, since then I've grown the design team from 5 to 10, taking on new functions and expanding the skill set of the studio. Recently taking on the team of labelling designers, covering a huge range of products, from established lines to NPD. I’ve also implemented structure, training and progression opportunities across the team as we take on more work but insist on keeping the same quality levelsSpeaking of brand guidelines, I am experienced not only in working with them but also in designing and maintaining packs for several brands simultaneously. This subsequently involved liaising with third party suppliers to ensure their work was on brand.Away from the day to day, I'm also an avid participant of the design community 'One Minute Briefs' on Twitter, chalking up over 150 wins to date, along with a prize or three and having work featured on The Drum. I also won the "OMBle of the year 2015" award. I know more Alan Partridge and The Office quotes than I probably should and I'll leave you with a fun fact - I have the opposite name to singer James Blunt, cool huh.

Listed skills include Graphic Design, Marketing Communications, Photoshop, Indesign, and 8 others.
