In publishing, I like to think of myself as that support character in the book who facilitates the main character achieving their goals, even—perhaps especially—when those goals seem out of reach.I’ve been an independent author and publisher since 2014, freelance editor since 2015, and a freelance cover designer since 2017. Getting my hands into every part of the industry has helped me connect with the struggles of indie authors and begin to create the resources I wish I'd had when starting out.After the upheaval of 2020, I decided to refocus my editing business to offer what I believe is the most economic solution to fiction editing for self-published authors—manuscript evaluation.I now help authors hone the major elements of their story from plot and structure to language and craft, all in a single evaluation that guides them through each step of the editing process.
