Serves as the personal public affairs officer to the Under Secretary of the Army for all aspects of his executive communications. Responsible for the development of the Under Secretary's worldwide internal, external and digital media engagement strategy. As the Under Secretary's official spokesperson, proactively engages the media and provides response to queries, crafts talking points, conducts targeted media analysis, plans logistical support, moderates media events, and evaluates coverage. Coordinates for and approves internal photography, videography and digital media products; liaises, advises and synchronizes operations between the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs andthe Office of the Under Secretary of the Army. Develops and maintains relationships with Joint Staff and Department of Defense counterparts.

Deputy Director responsible for managing an aligned, engaged, and high-performing Public Affairs team to support all public engagement activities for an Army Service Component Command. Advises the Commander, senior leaders and command members on all public affairs issues. Develops public affairs plans, guidance, and products for operations and exercises, coordinating with appropriate Public Affairs and staff offices. Responsible for managing local and regional community engagement events informing a key demographic on the significance of the army partnership with San Antonio; manages national level orientations tours to ensure command key messages and themes are highlighted. Oversees the productions of internal and external public affairs products, social and digital media products to inform audiences about the command.

Public Affairs lead planner for domestic, overseas and local travel and media events. Responsible for the coordination of media events with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and for the development of itineraries for media traveling with the Chairman. Provide direct support to synchronization of interagency, COCOM and services public affairs planning to maximize communication of national priorities.
