Opened and developed a Montessori Early Childhood Center. Created and managed all operational, CMS, marketing, business development and financial systems. Grew enrollment from 0 to 90 in nine months.

Responsibilities included complete management of all financial, operational and state compliance aspects including but not limited to: Business Development: Implementing grassroots marketing campaign. Identifying new opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with identified referral sources. Driving internal sales process by managing the inquiry process and training all appropriate staff to ensure a maximum inquiry capture rate and enrollment rate. The current inquiry to enrollment rate is 85%. Providing information sessions to referral sources and inquiries. Operations: Overseeing the financial performance of the center through routine monitoring of various financial tools. Developing and managing operational budget to ensure increased profit margin. Reviewing, maintaining and implementing state and company policy to maintain satisfactory survey results for state and funded programs. Monitoring all programs provided by the center to ensure delivery of quality services and to maintain an acceptable level of customer satisfaction. Providing oversight to billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. Management: Providing direct supervision of all management staff and oversight of supervision of entry level staff totaling management of eleven staff members. Interviewing, hiring and training of all new staff to meet company and state policy and regulations. Providing staff development and in-service presentations to maintain staff retention rate of 100%.

Sales: Initial point of contact for customer inquiries. Achieved a 85% contact to diagnostic testing rate. Achieved an 82% diagnostic testing to enrollment rate. Knowledgeably answered questions and presented program process, philosophy and effectiveness to sell the program to the client. Achieved rates were due to employing a consultative method. Marketing: Responsible for creating yearly marketing plans which were broken down by month and weekly targets. Created canvassing pattern to target specific markets for new client acquisition. Built business to business relationships for mutually beneficial support in the community. Developed a positive presence in the community by conducting grass roots marketing strategies which increased our inquiry rate and therefore sales. Created and delivered service oriented marketing presentations at events with audiences ranging from thirty to two hundred prospective clients. Management: Responsible for hiring, training, and maintaining staff of fifteen full and part-time employees. Achieved zero turn-over rate when assuming the position because of superior communication and management skills. Maintained all student financial accounts including loan processing.

Management: Ensured smooth student-teacher interactions. Worked with director and staff to create effective action plants to improve center operations. Responsible for vendor relationships and office organization.
