As a qualified social worker, I work from a solid ethical framework of social justice and human rights. This underpins and complements well-developed skills for working with people, such as a high level of empathy, engagement, and interpersonal skills. I am passionate about connecting policy to practice by working with people who have lived experience of how policy unravels on the ground. I am also really interested in understanding how design thinking principles can complement the policy process and create positive change in the world.I want to work towards making policy, program, and service development, design, and evaluation processes accessible for all, in order to create fair, evidence-based, and effective policies, programs, and services.
