As construction Contracts manager, I am responsible for a number of small/large contracts. This is largely a client facing role, where solid communication is used to ensure all parties expectations are being met during the build process. I work closely with all supply chain members including construction professionals and the workforce and plan daily activities including managing programme, planning and coordinating the workforce, procurement, attending and chairing meetings, managing quality and safety on siteOther responsibilities would be:- Meet with clients to understand what they require- Put together plans and estimates, including budgets and timescales.- Contribute to work planning, and brief project teams, contractors and suppliers.- Agree any extra work to be done within set timescales.- Gather all information together for invoicing at the end of the project.- Supply information to resolve disputes if they arise.- Identify areas for improvement in existing contracting processes.

This role involved undertaking a range of activities including take-offs and preparing tender submissions, attending bid meetings for future projects and undertaking monthly valuationsPlanning project timescales and monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecastsSite visits and gathering information for additional works and valuation purposes
