Jamie Walter, Ph.D.; Program Director of Research and Analysis for the Maryland Judiciary. I have over 20 years of experience in project management and research design, grant writing, data collection, and data analysis. I have managed and conducted evaluations of a variety of court practices including those of mental health courts, teen courts, self-help centers, and alternative dispute resolution. I have extensive experience in case flow management, from training judges and clerks, to time standard tracking, reporting in case management systems, and presenting to a wide variety of audiences. I continue to work on improving data reporting and performance measurement in the Maryland Judiciary. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. I am a National Center for State Courts (NCSC) Certified Court Executive and is a certified faculty for the NCSC Institute for Court Management program. Prior to joining the courts, I was a psychology professor and Human Services Director at Albion College, and mental health case manager. My B.A. is from St. Mary's College of Maryland and I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Maine.
