I am currently Product Manager at Puraffinity where our mission is to provide 1 Billion people with PFAS (forever chemicals) free water by 2030 through the development of smart materials to prevent environmental release. PFAS have been used in the manufacture of many products for over 60 years, leading to widespread environmental contamination and linked to several severe health effects. PFAS are highly persistent, challenging to remove and many new regulations are being implemented to reduce their levels - hence the need for new smart materials!With a passion for Product Management and Business Development, I have 7 years experience in commercializing innovative wastewater products which tackle global environmental challenges. I have experience in both start-ups and international businesses with my experience and responsibilities covering technical sales, technical marketing, launch strategy and commercialisation and beyond.Previously I led the launch of CleanTreat, a first of its kind and award winning purification system for the aquaculture industry which prevents chemicals used in the treatment of farmed salmon from entering the environment.
