As the North American RFP Writer for Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), I manage CPI's RFP process and work closely with the Professional Services and Sales Team members to craft high-quality responses that showcase CPI as the best possible solution for an organization's crisis prevention, de-escalation, and behavior management training.On a day-to-day basis I search out, vet and respond to RFP opportunities across the United States as well as apply CPI for vendor status amongst organizations for their future training needs. In addition, should any RFPs move to an interview phase, I review the organization's requirements, create the presentation and lead practice sessions with the interview team.Since starting, I have implemented a new proposal response process, begun the creation of a proposal content library housing CPI's evergreen and unique proposal response content, and developed a weekly report for CPI's Executive Leadership to stay current on recent wins/losses as well as what is in the pipeline.

I worked with the Director in coordinating the Planetarium's ins and outs, as well as worked with the staff to increase the publicity of the Planetarium. I did this through the leading of weekly meetings, coordinating staff on projects, creating invoices, organizing events, managing both the website and our spreadsheets, as well as creating advertising materials: fliers, specialty advertising, digital banners, newsletters, press releases, fact sheets and website copy. I also spoke with guests about the Planetarium's services, helped in selling tickets for our programs, aided in shows for both the public and schools as well as during our Stargazing nights. As needed I took on other administrative duties given by the Director.
