Sinds december 2015 ben ik (onbezoldigd) onderzoeker aan de KU Leuven, voor een periode van drie jaar. Naast vertaalwerk (dat nauwelijks nog te vinden is) wil ik weer meer onderzoek gaan doen, met name over het daoisme in de Chinese provincie Yunnan.

Currently translating one of Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan's novels into Dutch.Recent translations/books:Yu Hua, Broers (Breda: De Geus, 2012)Wunengzi. Nietskunner - Het taoïsme en de bevrijding van de geest (Amsterdam: Augustus, 2011)Liu E, De reizen van Oud Afval (Amsterdam: Augustus, 2010)I have been translating Modern and Classical Chinese literature (and occasionally French literature) since 1989: Yu Jian, Dai Sijie, Yuan Mei, Liezi, Christian Bobin, to name but a few.
