Jan Hanson is a nationally recognized food allergy educator, speaker & author with over 25 years experience in food allergy education. She founded her consulting company, Educating For Food Allergies, LLC (EFFA) in 2001. She presented at Food Allergy Research & Education's (FARE) 2016 conference in Orlando, Florida, "Going to College with Food Allergies", and at FARE's 2014 national conference, "IHPs for a Child's Physical & Emotional Health". She spoke at the 4th annual Utah Food Allergy Conference in 2014. She served on two panels at the Food Allergy Bloggers Conference in Las Vegas in 2013, and spoke on a panel again at FABCon 2014. Jan presented at the Visions of Community 2013 conference sponsored by the Federation for Children with Special Needs in Boston, MA, about 504 Plans, and served on an expert panel at the 10th annual Food Safety Conference sponsored by the Univ. of Rhode Island.
