The Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR) analyses public sector data for the public good, covering areas from health to education, and from crime to transport. Together with the Scottish Government it forms ADR Scotland, part of ADR UK.My primary aim, is to improve public understanding of data privacy, the value of administrative data and the positive impact our research can make. Do this by developing our Communication Strategy and our Social Media plan, through implementing an easy to follow website; an active twitter and linkedin platform; writing news articles, blogs, impact case studies and eNewsletters. Organising workshops and knowledge exchange seminars, as well as encouraging communication with community groups, schools and festivals to ensure our academics engage with the public, as well as communicating with our stakeholders and third sector organisations.#SCADR #ADR_UK #ESRC

My role is split into 4 main areas:- Responsible for the marketing, recruitment and conversion activities for our online postgraduate programmes in Neuroimaging, Imaging, Image Analysis and PET-MR Applications programmes, as well as online short courses targeted to commercial companies for staff training.- Creating and implementing the Edinburgh Imaging brand; developing a marketing strategy to create awareness of this new network across all University of Edinburgh schools and centres, in order to recruit members and continuously expand the Edinburgh Imaging network- Developing marketing and communication strategies with activity plans for Edinburgh Imaging, to promote our world leading research; new research funds & grants; awards & medals presented to individuals and teams; progress on current research projects or clinical trials and highlighting journal publications or press articles involving Edinburgh Imaging members.- Responsible for the development and delivery of a marketing strategy for the Edinburgh Imaging Facilities, including launch events for new sites, management of official openings, building close working relationships with industrial partners when new imaging modalities are installed and ensuring that all academics use the correct branding, name of facility, website and mission statement when acknowledging the facilities on academic posters.

- Management of the Veterinary Teaching Office for UG Veterinary Studies programme- Management of the Jeanne Marchig Animal Welfare Centre's office- Project management of the development of 3 new elearning programmes - including creating new learning platforms for each programme and populating them with all teaching material.- Create website, social media sites and new course lilerature to help promote programmes- Work with Programme Directors to respond to student enquiries, and create a marketing strategy to recruit and convert postgraduates- Developing PGT induction materials.

- Manage office and administrative staff- Control school budget, responsible for approving purchases and paying invoices- Provide business management support to Senior Teachers- Event management of concerts, parents evenings etc.- Assist guidance office to contact parents

- Head buyer for all gardening, pet and equine products- Manager of each store's staff, within the 4 Town & Country Stores - Create marketing strategy incorporating advertising, website, social media planning, event management and customer relationship management to ensure that the target market are aware of stores; analyse stock movement to ensure the right product was selling at the right price; assess slow moving stock; that suppliers were keen to have their products stocked with us and to give special promotions; motivate store managers and their teams to achieve their monthly targets and implement a staff of the month award.- Market Research- Business planning
