Most recently working as Digital Security Lead, on the divestments of BP UK Assets to new Owner/Operators within the IT&S business scope for Merger and Acquisitions including BP onshore Terminals and offshore assets. Working to aggressive timelines and firm delivery dates. Tasks include where applicable, re-design of existing BP PCN and Telemetry network infrastructure adhering to current network and cyber security standards, to ensure gas and oil production pipeline data continue to operate and flow to the required systems with zero to minimum downtime at cutover. Liaise closely with client and new Owner/Operator to agree and verify requirements for a successful IT infrastructure transition delivery. Produce documentation on assets Process Control Network environment required by new Owner/Operator e.g. BP Network Infrastructure Overview Documentation. Review and attend new Owner/Operators Network and Security design FATS. Follow BPs Management of Change process. Adhere to relevant BP processes and procedures inc, eMOCs, Workpacks, Liaise closely with new Operator/Owner to agree IT&S Infrastructure approach for transition. Create and handover Transition Day Implementation Plan. Carry out post transition decommissioning tasks e.g. removal of redundant infrastructure with zero impact to live systems. Create and update BP IT&S Divestment Guide.

Design and implement Networking and Security solutions for BP offshore platforms, drill ships and onshore Terminals within the IT&S space. Projects covering both North Sea and various other locations, including Oman and Azerbaijan. Specializing particularly in Digital Security governance risk and analysis within the Oil & Gas Process Control environment. Security Lead for a small regional team whilst working for HPE/DXC on the BP account.

Firewall & Network Engineer on the BP account.Worked on a various BP projects both in the north sea and covering other global locations. Experience also within an Operational role as Network\Security Engineer.

Provide both operational and project support for Networks Services Exploration and Production in the UK, Russia and Caspian.

Started EDS as a Systems Engineer, then in 2000 transferred to the Networks Dept as Trainee Network and Firewall Engineer within the Network Operations Centre.
