● Process company purchase ledger in a timely and accurate manner, including inputting supplier invoices, matching delivery notes, getting invoices signed off and paying suppliers. Dealing with invoice queries, keeping constant communication between in-house departments and suppliers to resolve disputes.● Supporting sales ledger, generating customer invoices, taking, and processing customer payments.● Securely processing and paying weekly payroll, adhering to privacy and confidentiality policies. Processing weekly subcontractor invoices and monthly CIS return.● Working directly alongside the accounting manager, responsible for making credit card payments, processing, and reconciliation of credit card statements. Responsible for handling of all cash, staff receipt reimbursements, weekly recording of petty cash and generating reports.● Trained on Sage50 and Sage50 Payroll software. Trained on the internal system for customer orders.● Answering telephone calls, taking new orders and customer payments including sensitive data, dealing with, and resolving customer queries and complaints.● Organising and managing daily warehouse production schedules and producing weekly reports.● Acting as a liaison between the accounts team and other departments, often working within other administrative teams when required.● Able to prioritise effectively, completing administrative tasks directly for the MD at short notice.
