With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, I began my career in the legal industry. As the former Marketing Director of Southeastern Virginia’s largest law firm, I led the internal and external marketing communications needs of the firm and the development and production of the firm’s print and electronic marketing materials, brand positioning and business development. Immediately prior to joining Otto, I operated my own marketing consulting business, helping businesses and NPOs launch new initiatives and refocus ongoing programs. At Otto, I am an Account Supervisor and work with clients in a broad range of industries, my in-house perspective allows me to see things through the clients' eyes.I am on the Board of Directors for Hope House Foundation and was named Board Member of the year in 2015 and 2021.

As President of VisJan Marketing Consultants, I advise and formulate marketing strategies to help businesses and NPOs launch new initiatives, refocus their current programs and collaborate to create successful and unified strategic results. I provide clients with advice and guidance regarding market strategies and other plans, brand positioning, advertising, exhibiting, trade shows and fairs.

As marketing director, I direct and manage the internal and external marketing communications needs of the firm. I lead the development and production of the firm’s print and electronic marketing materials along with other external media and supervise and manage the day-to-day marketing functions including the firm's website, marketing database, special and sponsored events, advertising, and public relations.
