I am an equine veterinary surgeon with experience of clinical work (New Bolton Center, University of Pennsylvania, USA; Animal Health Trust, Newmarket, England), research (MSc, PhD), welfare, and communications. This background allows me to teach in a number of different areas, and to generate scientific and educational materials for a wide range of audiences, from basic scientists through to medical specialists, veterinary surgeons, veterinary students, and horse owners of all ages. I believe strongly in ensuring that all educational content is evidence-based, and in making clinically relevant and welfare-based research information accessible and useful to non-scientists.
