Update -Over the last year or so, I have been fortunate to experience "once in a lifetime" travel. This has given me time to reflect on my professional experiences.One project was to prepare a seasonal food manufacturer for sale. The Company operated at a loss, After providing a strategy which included on-lines sales - controlling supply chain and inventory, creating production schedules, the company became profitable. The PE firm thereby continued to hold the company. I helped an aerospace company update their financials from a tax to GAAP oriented to complete a qualify of earnings for their merger.Industries varied from AEC, Aerospace, BioTech, AgriTeck, Sports Networks, IT, Software, Cybersecurity, Franchises, Manufactuing and Distribution of equipment, products and food, Medical Device, Technology, Collections, and Commodities. I had a great time in this company. The company went from a Private Equity backed spin-off that was controlled by the Apollo group. I was instrumental in completing the financial work and putting together the on-going processes to taking the company public (IPO in Nov 2004). Some busy times, but I would definitely like to be the CFO taking a company public in the future.

Alta Colleges had technical training, but also began e-learning for individuals to receive their bachelors degrees. The school was primarily funded through student loans and student grants which meant that grant accounting needed to be correctly reported to the SALLIE MAE and some of the banks that funded the transactions.
I was the controller, then became the CFO and General manager of Pacer Cats which was a jt venture between Ticketmaster and Wembley. Pacer cats was a $50 million hardware software niche company that catered to the movie theater industry worldwide. When Ticketmaster was sold to USA networks, Pacer Cats became part of the USA interactive group.
I worked at Neodata, which was acquired by Centrobe - an EDS company in Louisville CO as the CFO of the publishing division. Neodata was a quasi-public company with public debt. The compabny was a call center enviroment doing transactional processing of bill payments, and customer service activities for magazine subscription customers. EDS purchased the company in 1997.
