I am a highly independent lady from Indonesia as i've had been away from home for a decade to pursue my further studies in Malaysia. My determination to excel myself was unbeatable despite of my young age. I joined a Chinese Private International High School in Penang, Malaysia. From an empty page, I started my journey picking up languages; English and Mandarin Chinese. Mistakes learnt and experience gained, led me to the rocky roads and stormy days, and it taught me what was right and wrong.I was an assistant IT manager at one of the best Singapore bank in Malaysia. One of the great things about being an assistant manager was that I constantly had different job duties; they could change every single day. My primary duty was to work directly with the IT HOD and I had to perform the tasks with team leads as needed. From here, I would be working with a variety of staff members and each conversation requires a slightly different approaches. Hence, I've learnt more about communicating in a professional and effective manner in learn boundaries, communication & assertiveness skills.After a year and half, a Business Services HOD noticed my capabilities and offered me an opportunity to join one of the most challenging team in the operation division family. I accepted the challenge to manage and monitor the bank's Outsource Service Provider (OSP) performance service level for mailing room, cheque book and document management. My daily task is to manage bank wide Business Units (BU) expectation and perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors and BU.On my second month of joining, my HOD entrusted me as a Project Manager with a special process improvement project, called Recall Web Project. My goal was to digitized the bank's document management paper process to a Straight Through Processing (STP) Web based. Through this project, I managed to reduce 80% of the Units Per Transaction (UPT), eliminate paper usage, thus increased a huge amount of bank's saving.
