Accountable for providing the strategic leadership, system uniformity, operational framework and executive management of various quality and production programs that are directly aligned with client requirements.

Accountable for daily oversight of the facility to ensure the organization is managed and performing efficiently, effectively and accurately.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:• Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers.• Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental managers.• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.• Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.• Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.• Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.• Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.• Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, sales engineering, technology, and customer service to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.• Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

Responsible for overall managerial direction of the production function at the GRV plant, with multi-department accountability within the organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:• Responsible for direction, planning and coordination of all areas of production and related services. • Directs line operations through lower level managers and supervisors. • Lead the development of production goals and timetables for various departments, production operations and peak events. • Standardize production procedures and monitor performance.• Evaluate new processes to improve profitability and reduce cost while making recommendations to management regarding improvements.• Keep the Director informed with regard to all matters relevant to the operational status of the plant, company policies and safety.• Responsible for establishing budgets, equipment justifications/ROI’s, managing department expenses, establishing costs per service provided and charging for the services provided.• Responsible for hiring and performance evaluations.• Establish annual department goals and measure against the goals.• Responsible for developing a succession plan for the department.• Responsible for “hub” Production Services support for all “spoke” sites which include Grove City, Sartell, St. Cloud, Union, Tewksbury and New York.• Responsible for providing “unlimited” capacity for all offset/commercial and digital print work.• Responsible for the cost difference and reporting between outsourced and internally produced work.
