Full stack software engineer / systems administrator. I have many projects under my belt and experience in many different technologies (Microsoft, Linux, SCO Unix, software development). In addition to currently working for a local community college (Louisiana Delta Community College) as their Programmer Analyst, I am working on growing my business (Synthe-Source LLC), providing custom software solutions to businesses. My company website can be found at https://ssllc.bz.Wrote Crypto Watcher, which is an app for tracking the value of a crptocurrency portfolio, and is released on the Google Play Store, pending release on Windows and iOS. I chose Flutter for its ease of targeting multiple platforms, as well as for it being a statically type and compiled language. Being developed by Google was also a definite plus as it lends itself to excellent long term support and usage. Crypto Watcher also includes alerts on price changes (value and percentage), as well as a watchlist, and personalization options, including accent color, background image, and transparency level.See Crypto Watcher here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bz.ssllc.crypto_watcher_proImplemented the entire stack for the LamiNation mobile app, written in NativeScript, released on both Android and iOS, which identifies the make and model of laminates used for countertops and cabinets. Notable technologies employed in that product are Python, Nim, NativeScript, and machine learning. I implemented 100% of the tech stack for this app, starting with extensive research into image recognition technologies, deciding on machine learning; from server configuration to the app itself. The back-end is written in Nim, which imports the model trained in Python, and serves as the backbone for requests from the mobile app. For those who may not know, Nim is a statically-typed general purpose programming language with a syntax similar to Python, but the speed of C. As for the database, MongoDB was selected for it's stability, scalability, flexibility, and speed.
