I am a seasoned litigator and corporate counsel with experience in diverse industries and practice areas. I recently joined the eXp Realty in-house legal team, after having launched my solo practice in early 2024. Prior to that, I spent several years as the Chief Legal Officer for a group of privately-owned companies that included a real estate development group, construction companies, and a professional soccer team. I previously worked in-house for a publicly-traded renewable energy company, where I managed litigation, investigations, and enforcement actions, advised on related securities filing disclosures, and handled escalated situations outside of litigation or arbitration.Prior to joining the in-house counsel world, I spent many years as a litigator in large law firms. My litigation practice included matters ranging from securities litigation, to breach of contract, to cases involving real estate and financial services. I have represented companies of all sizes in response to regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings at both state and federal levels. I also represented accountants and accounting firms in both litigation and regulatory matters for many years. Throughout my years of practice, I have have been particularly comfortable addressing complex financial, accounting, valuation, and other quantitative issues that arise in legal situations.
