Hi, my name is Jared Perkins and I'm a multi-instrumentalist from the quad-cities. I play the saxophone, guitar, flute, and piano. The guitar is definitely my calling though. I received my degree in Music Technology so I could one day build my own home studio to record all of the music that I write for my progressive metal band Igneous. I've been teaching guitar and saxophone at my local music store "West Music" in Moline, Illinois. It's kind of cool because I started taking lessons there and now I teach there with my former teacher. Other than playing music, I really enjoy technology, specifically computers. From building them to playing on them. It's always a great way to learn and have fun. Other then that, I like to meet new people and try out new things because you never know what could come from it.
