I’m an on-air meteorologist with 20 years of full-time experience, mainly in the broadcast news/media industry. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology and atmospheric science, and a weather communications minor from Penn State University (main campus). I have seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association, and my weathercasts have been recognized by the AP (Associated Press). I have also won and been nominated for several Emmy Awards. I have exemplary skills in both written and verbal communication, along with forecasting, broadcasting, and leadership. I have extensive experience with all social media platforms, in addition to radio, television, and internet. I also have experience as a middle school science teacher, who taught various science courses to children in grades 5 - 8. I also have extensive computer skills ranging from Microsoft Office, computer programming, web design, and usage of all weather computer models. I’m a team player who has always been reliable, punctual, and professional.
