As a math tutor, I simplified math concepts while coaching students on how to problem solve. I provided guidance to students to improve academic success and maintain records of each tutoring session.

I conducted my Senior Thesis on the influence of calves and juveniles as well as group size on the acoustic behavior in common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus). For my research, I analyzed acoustic files to identify whistles, echolocation trains, and burst pulse-sounds within spectrogram and wavelength views. My work also included constructing statistical models to evaluate and display data while communicating with professional mentors regarding the progress of the research.

My role as a Resident Advisor at Eckerd College was to serve on an emergency response rotation for a campus of over 1,800 students, establish a welcoming and safe environment, and coordinate educational and recreational events for residents.

During my NOLS Wilderness Leadership Course in Baja California, I led a group of 12 on a 30-day, 100+ mile expedition down the coast of Baja California Sur. On the expedition, my role was to maintain effective and consistent communication, teamwork, and group morale as well as organize gear and ration distribution among crew members.

As Assistant Director, I led the outfitting department managing seven staff members. I equipped crews with proper tents, bags, cooking boxes, and other gear-based on the specific trek. I led the coordination of the emergency response team for active wilderness treks.

As an Outfitting Interpreter, I led canoeing expeditions of 5-12 days into the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness in the U.S. and Canada. I taught scouts canoeing and camping skills, navigation techniques, and information about the local environment. At base camp, maintained tents, bags, and cooking boxes as well as equipped crews with the proper gear.

Awarded Eagle Scout designation in 2017 after 5 years as a Boy Scout.Planned and executed personal community service project fundraised from local businesses and led 50+ volunteers over the course of 2 months in the renovation and restoration of a six-car train for a local children's ministry.Oversaw risk management practices when preparing and leading troop activities.Managed and maintained a steady schedule to complete necessary requirements over the course of 6 years.
