I am a devCodeCamp graduate, a 14 week sprint, software development boot camp. I attended the full MERN stack course. I have been diving headfirst into the world of software development and loving every second of it. I love a challenge and this line of work is perfect for giving me the challenging environment that I thrive in. I have taken a particular interest in Dev Ops and find that I do very well with it.Currently I am attending Colorado Technical University in order to attain my Bachelor of science in computer science degree with an emphasis in software engineering. My school plan is to complete by late 2023, courses I will be taking include multiple different programming languages, principals of user interface design, software assurance. Previously I was a Quality manager with Vermeer working with 12 people under me spread over 2 manufacturing plants over 3 time shifts. Everyday activities included schedule management, conflict resolution, database and excel spreadsheet work. Engaging with teams and fostering communication. Inventory control and budget management. Handling training and remediation for 4 manufacturing plants. Conducting presentations to clients as well as internal executives. United States and World based travel to clients across the globe to train and learn from them.I was also a United States Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton California. I was a infantry squad leader at the time of my Honorable Discharge. I managed the infantry operations of 18 men in uniform during combat operations in Iraq during two separate war campaigns. Duties included time management and training for various weapon systems as well as squad and team based tactics, security systems and various communications equipment as well as weapon targeting systems. knowledge of advanced math for the purposes of safety standoff distance for explosive breaching and charge construction and advanced leadership skills to conduct operations safely and effectively. I also held a secondary job as a Scout Swimmer while in the Marines. Duties were off shore and water based infiltration under cover of darkness for the purposes of tactical information gathering and rescue operations. Multinational training operations were conducted successfully with long time contact established and good relationships built between those contacts.
