I’m a current Theatre major, Business minor, junior at Rutgers Newark, where I have the great opportunity of being the Theatre Arts Group President. TAG has been a fun challenge because I had to restart it from zero members at the beginning of the semester to now 25. I already made the programs list for next semester and am excited to see who else joins in the game TAG. I’ve always loved the arts and am grateful to have gone to the first art high school in the nation, Arts High School. Arts High allowed me to feed my curiosity by performing in nation known stages, and when I became class VP I knew what I wanted to do when I grow up, be an Artistic Director. I’m interested in positions behind/in front of the house. I’ve learned from being a VP now P you need to know every part of the system in order for it to work. I already have the detail oriented and critical thinking skills that are needed but I'm excited to practice them further and develop new ones. So I want to learn everything it takes to have a successful show from start to finish, from costume to directing, and this is where I can start.
