Initially desiring to pursue a career in Aerospace, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at Colorado College. While in school, I discovered my innate ability to quickly digest advanced concepts and find efficient solutions for difficult problems. After graduation, I received an offer from a large Aerospace company, but I felt uninspired about the opportunity. Upon reflection, I realized I wanted to build something that adds to, rather than detracts from, people’s well-being and safety. Having enjoyed Computer Science classes in college, wanting a career that was hands-on, and knowing my skills would easily translate into the tech field, I became a front-end software engineer via the Turing School of Software and Design. Now I hope to combine my analytical skills with my love of building high quality products and work with great tech companies who help people gain access to the resources they need to pursue careers they care about and find more joy in their everyday lives.
