I was offered a part-time position to continue employment at Optimax during my last two semesters. In this position, I was added to the software development team, consisting of three individuals prior. A lot of the job required me to meet with other departments and figure out how I could make their lives easier with my software. My tasks included daily scrums, software development, code review, requirement documents and mockups, IT and software tickets, hosting meetings, and giving presentations to stakeholders.

I had an initial project during my internship at Optimax. I coded a prototype of my project before my internship even started. I finished writing my software in python and had to adapt my code to PHP, Twig, HTML, and Symfony. This project taught me how to be flexible and quickly learn new languages.
