Hi! My name is Jason and I'm a recent B.S. Public Health graduate from Virginia Tech with a minor in Medicine and Society. I am actively seeking a full-time position for any public health related organizations and non-profits. My current interests are public heath policy, administration, and informatics. I am seeking a role where I can use my skills in program evaluation, strategic planning, and data analysis to contribute to the improvement of various health outcomes and evidence-based interventions. I am looking forward to work with others who share the same ambitions of improving health outcomes.In my past role, I was a Public Health Outreach Intern at Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certification Academy. During my time there, I actively engaged in fostering partnerships with multiple physician assistant schools to integrate POCUS certifications into their curriculum. This involved conducting extensive research into each school's program requirements to ensure alignment with industry standards and educational goals. Another contribution was the creation of a comprehensive project utilizing Microsoft Excel. This project involved consolidating years' worth of POCUS knowledge checks into a single spreadsheet, enhancing accessibility and usability for both current and future use. By organizing this data in a streamlined manner, I facilitated more efficient tracking of participant progress and assessment of learning outcomes.
