The Barbara Schneider Foundation is a non-profit organization that specializes in the training of public service personnel from all walks of life, and in various employment backgrounds. We use methods of empathy and compassion, rather than physical control or violence, in order to relate to people with mental health issues. · Working as a Crisis Intervention Specialist/Trainer/Actor within the Barbara Schneider Foundation over the course of fourteen years, I have learned countless skills and tools from absorbing the multi-talented coaches and actors in the training process.· We train and encourage, (using our various acting abilities): police officers, police department personnel, sheriff’s units, prison guards, security officers, firemen, E.M.T.’s, as well as doctors and nurse staff at local area hospitals.· Using each company's on-site facilities, the actor/coach team then trains in these individuals by using de-escalation techniques. The Blue Buffalo Company is a nationally recognized leader in the natural dog and cat food industry. · Responsible for consulting with new and returning clients to aid them in the selection of the correct Blue Buffalo product for their pet care needs; I worked primarily within PetSmart, PetCo, and Target retail chains throughout the Twin Cities metro area.· Greeted and engaged customers in discussions regarding pet nutrition to better understand their level of knowledge and interest; highlighted the benefits of using Blue Buffalo products and helped them compare and contrast our line against competitive brands, in a non-threatening and educational manner.· Provided a detailed plan to aid customers in transitioning their pets from one brand of pet nutrition and pet care into a higher quality line.

QCTV serves the Champlin, Anoka, Andover, and Ramsey communities.· Produced my own television talk show, “2 Tickets, Please”, with a focus on entertainment venues in the surrounding communities.· Assisted as camera operator for numerous indoor and outdoor high school sporting events.· Supported the producers and station program director with various advanced technical skills during live and live-to-tape studio shoots.· Acted as a talent host for live in-the-field productions within the QCTV market.

North Metro TV is a community television station located in the North Metro area of the Twin Cities. They serve the Blaine, Lino Lakes, Ham Lake, Spring Lake Park, Centerville, Circle Pines and Lexington communities.· Assisted as camera operator for live-to-tape, in-studio newsroom shoots.· Responsible for writing detailed web stories that elaborated upon the daily news reports.· Acted as on-air talent for weekly news reports and for live air feeds on voting day.

Boxer Films is an independent film and commercial production company located in the Los Angeles, CA area. They focus on creating national advertisements for network and cable television, in a variety of industries.· Assisted with the construction and deconstruction of production sets.· My primary objective was to secure the production sound stage with the use of walkie-talkies during filming. I had to make sure that no one was allowed to enter/exit the facilities while the "red light" was illuminated.
