Managed all technical strategy, implementation and projects, reporting directly to VP/IT. Designed and deployed full networking infrastructure to new satellite warehouses. Supported full IT stack for Feed The Children as well as the separately-managed trucking division. Consolidated many outdated file and application servers to a highly available infrastructure – saving the company thousands of dollars in maintenance and upgrade expenses.Began migration to virtual with VMWare and used software to convert many aging physical servers to virtual, which maximized the company’s technology investment. Set up and maintained hundreds of thin clients with virtual desktops within a Citrix environment. This saved the company hundreds of thousands in desktop computer expenses. Upgraded Trucking division’s directory services server, network, email, and backup systems with better technologies and improved interoperability.
