Launched in 2019, Mussel Polymers Inc (MPI) is developing a disruptive and high value advanced material technology. Inspired by nature, this multi-functional biomimetic material was developed by studying the natural adhesive produced by mussels. In addition to having the unique capability to strongly adhere to a variety of wet and underwater surfaces, our materials can deliver a number of beneficial and highly desired biological effects such as inducing tissue remineralization, enabling the proliferation of stem cells, and reducing inflammation. We have delivered several third party validated proof of concepts in solutions ranging from coral reef restoration to next generation dental care. We have active opportunities and projects in the defense, biomedical, and composites industries, among others. Our solutions have been found to bond to notoriously difficult surfaces such as wet zirconia, silicon, and carbon fiber. As a member of the founding management team, I am primarily responsible for strategic market evaluation, go-to-market strategy and execution for products and services associated with our various technology ventures. We are passionate about taking game changing technology from the lab to the market. Wardenclyffe Chemicals Inc. works with inventors, entrepreneurs, university professors and technology transfer offices to take inventions from the laboratory to the marketplace. Our approach is efficient and produces results. Over the past two years we have evaluated hundreds of technologies, met with approximately 20 technology teams, optioned 8 technologies and have launched three ventures.
