I’m a full stack software engineer and passionate contributor to the open source community, most recently as co-creator of Topmast, a Docker extension that combines container management with performance visualization. My recent talks include a presentation on Microservices for the Jeeny/Bractlet Tech Talk SeriesPrior to focusing on software development, I had 20+ years experience teaching and managing technology in higher education, with an emphasis on web development and digital art.Outside of coding, I’m a grey-hat historian who’s lectured internationally about the paranoid nature of our memory technologies. I’ve also help found and run several underground art spaces in LA (one of them, literally underground) where activivities have included literary battles, lightbulb cooking contests, pirate karaoke parties, drones for haircuts, theremin in gorilla gloves, and word games in a darth vader suit.
